Solo Taxonomy

Pam Hook and SOLO Taxonomy

This is a site for looking at Solo Taxonomy in the NZ context.  Lots of links and freebies to help develop your skills in using SOLO in the classroom.

"Students of all ages can use SOLO levels, rubrics and frameworks to answer the following questions:

  • What am I learning?
  • How is it going?
  • What do I do next?

HookED uses SOLO to help students think about the strengths and weaknesses of their own thinking, to “learn to learn” and to help schools develop a common, school wide approach to making learning and learning outcomes visible to students."
